Ephesians 2:14 For Christ himself has brought peace to us. He united Jews and Gentiles into one people when, in his own body on the cross, he broke down the wall of hostility that separated us. Paul begins today’s passage with the imperative “Don’t forget,” or, put another way, remember where you used to be and who you are now. In this time of polarized thinking, we all find ourselves on one side or another of various issues. Jesus tore down these walls thru his death, burial, and resurrection.
